THE FASCINATING WORLD OF NETWORKING

This website is dedicated to Network Security based on Cisco devices. But, I'm going to integrate Juniper devices in Cisco Networks to study their effect and compatibility.

 

My intention is to develop some topics from a practical point of view, focusing on labs designed using GNS3 Simulator.

 

Some people say you have to purchase old Cisco equipment to study and become certified as CCNP,  but there are other alternatives like: GNS3, VMWare, Packet Tracer, labs online, ...

 

For example, see my topic "AAA using TACACS+ and GNS3 example". In this case, you don't need a Tacacs Server, since it's implemented using my computer; a loopback interface on GNS3 links with my PC and I can test all the AAA Server-based commands.

 

Of course, some topics are broadly explained from a theoretical point of view.
